After months of speculation, the new MacBook Pro has finally ‘touched’ down.

Date Added 28/10/2016

Announced yesterday, Apple have unveiled the latest line of MacBook Pro's with up to 130% faster graphics, 100% faster flash storage and up to 3.8GHz turbo boost processing.

However, the most noticeable change is the removal of the function keys to make way for a new touch bar.

The new touch bar works by changing automatically to show relevant tools based on what the user is doing weather it be system controls like volume and brightness, interactive ways to adjust or browse through content or using text features like emoji and predictive text plus many more. Touch ID is also available on the new MacBook Pro, enabling instant access to logins and fast, secure online purchases with Apple Pay.

Another noticeable change is the somewhat controversial removal of USB ports to make way for four Thunderbolt 3/USB-C ports which are capable of 40Gbps of throughput, twice the bandwith of Thunderbolt 2. However various adapters are available if needed to connect external displays or USB devices.
